He is Anyway Marine's General Manager. He focuses however his activities on boat acquisitions and sales, on building strong partnerships with boats' owners and agents as well as dealing with off taxed investments.
Born in Istanbul 24 December 1956, he speaks Turkish, French and English.
He is also wellknown for his social commitment and has namely been President of the Association METIMER since 2 years which works at promoting the future of nautical activities in St Maarten and surrounding islands

Sylvain Gulay is an authority on motorboats even though he has sailed mono-hulls and catamarans for years..
He is well informed about the second-hand market in the United States and has lived there for three years..
At 17 years of age, he turned his passion for boats and the sea, inherited from his family, into his profession.

By the age of 30, he had created ELITE MARINE in the United States, a branch of the company “Anyway Marine”, in North America.
His experience in renovating boats includes technical and manual work on hulls, varnishing, repairing teak decks, engine work, electronic work, haul- outs and painting, all of which have made him a true expert in the field.
When he joined the family business in 2002, he already had had a career in deep-sea fishing and running luxury charter yachts from 45 'to 65' long, and he had sailed all over the Caribbean.
When he crossed paths with Ronelle Rominger, a beautiful American whom he married, opportunities arose for him in the United States where he now lives.

He established "Elite Marine» in the wake of “Anyway Marine”, and taking advantage of their Caribbean clientele, the company has developed, gradually, over the past three years with some fabulous sales.
With his passion, his training and his serious attitude, Sylvain GULAY looks after his customers from start to finish, always bearing their wishes in mind.

Ronelle is in charge of advertising and public relations for CIE Elite Marine and Anyway Marine in North America.
